Our Admission process

If you are unsure where to start your recovery journey, you’ve come to the right place. However, if any of our facilities are not the right fit for you, we can help you find the right treatment elsewhere. The following are the steps you should expect when being admitted to any of our facilities.

Step 1:

We will Listen to your story

From the first time you contact us to your first day at treatment, we will assign someone to assist you throughout the process. When you contact us, we will take the time to listen and understand your situation. All our admissions personnel have a wide experience and knowledge in managing addiction-related cases. They are well trained to assess different addiction situations and help clients identify their next steps in their recovery journey.

At The Sober Living, we understand that addiction can make someone feel isolated, lonely, and ashamed. Over the years, we’ve worked with hundreds of people who share similar stories like yours. We are here you guarantee you that you are not alone and your addiction problem doesn’t reflect who you are.

Step 2:

Pre-screening

During the pre-screening stage, our staff will take time to understand your clinical and recovery requirements and the logistics required to help you get admitted. We will take time to ask questions regarding your physical limitations, mental state, and any pre-existing medical conditions that you might have. We will also discuss the available payment options we have here at The Sober Living during this stage.

We will ask the following questions during this stage:

  • Your drug history
  • Types of drugs abused and the length of your addiction
  • Your treatment history
  • Any mental disorders (potential or known)
  • Medical conditions
  • Family life and history
  • Employment history

We ask these questions to help us determine the right treatment program for you or your loved one.

Step 3:

Treatment Recommendations

The person handling your admission will help you to create a personalized treatment program depending on your circumstances. Besides, they will help identify which recovery house is best for you. We will take the time to review your treatment options and facility and answer any questions you might have.

Step 4:

Planning your Trip

After reviewing your treatment plan and make sure that you are comfortable with it, it’s time to start your treatment program. Our admissions personnel will schedule your admission date, give you a packing list, travel schedule, and any help you might need while being admitted to any of our recovery facilities. Once you arrive at the facility, one of our compassionate team members will take you through a final medical screening, get you settled, and begin treatment.
